CHARACTERFUL VAN WITH GREAT FEATURES. With some sadness we have decided to sell our much loved and trusted Mercedes Sprinter Campervan. Low mileage for its age it has lots of great features that allow you to explore the outdoors. In its time it has driven to Kyrgyzstan and back and kept us safe all the way. With lots of storage for equipment it is the ideal adventure van. The double in-series leisure batteries and solar panel ensure that there is sufficient power to keep the fridge working even in 40 degree heat and high level of insulation has kept us warm in the North Face car park at the Ben in the depths of Scottish Winter. The gas cage takes two large gas bottles and has a universal adapter that takes any form of bottle. Underneath the 40 litre tank also makes sure that you can last off the mains for quite a while. Comprehensively and regularly serviced, it has had some major work done on its sills last year. But it has never failed its MOT and comes now with 12 months MOT to September 2021. This van has had a life, as cosmetically the dabs of anti-rust paint and the odd dent show. Some vandalism (key marks) led to the addition of some really quite cheesy decals. As we make new plans for different adventures we would love the van to be passed on to suitably adventurous spirits who want to be different from the general van-herd.
